The backstory to Oblique Strategies

Oblique Strategies

I’ve always been a bit of a fan of Oblique Strategies — the set of cards created by Brian Eno and Peter Schmidt in the 1970s to help when you’re creatively stuck. I’d never really thought about where they came from though so it was great to listen to Simon Armitage’s Radio 4 programme exploring where they came from and what people have used them for. Just a shame that he didn’t manage to get to speak to Brian as well.

Get your Fairphone

fairphone

Very proud of the Fairphone team for all the work they’ve put into their campaign to pre-sell the first batch of ‘limited edition’ phones. It’s definitely paid off as they’ve sold well over 8,000 handsets at the time of writing (or over £2 million worth to put it another way) and there’s still one day to go. Get yours here.
